The hotel is not a carbon copy of every other tourist hotel; the lobby is chock full of ancient Egyptian bric-a-brac, and the rooms have similar but lower-key touches. The view of the pyramids from the pool terrace, breakfast room and some rooms is exquisite - if you're staying for more than two days, paying for a view room is worth it since you'll probably spend some tiem on the balcony or looking out the window. The lobby features a convenience store, a bar, a souvenir shop, a jewelry store and a clothing store. The attached buffet-style restaurant is a solid way to sample Egyptian cuisine but is also a reliable place for lunch or dinner. The hotel faces an event venue that features wedding on most nights. It's fun to watch the guests and bride and groom, and things seem to wrap up before midnight. Not all staff members speak fluent English, but those who don't quickly get hold of another member who does, sometimes by phone. The standout member of the staff is Mohamed Abdo. He arranges tours, drivers, special needs at the hotel and general advice. He absolutely made our trip. He seems always to be working and yet always cheerful. He is certainly endowed with that famous Egyptian quality of a constant mild ribbing. This is a great choice above all for the pyramids view, Mohamed and access to the bar.

Fabulous location with a view of the pyramids. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Not great but perfectly acceptable and very good value at less than £10 per person and eat as much as you like; soup, salad, meat, vegetables and multi-choice desserts. Mohamed the reservations manager was fantastic, he organised all of our trips with private drivers and was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was great although not heated and there was a spa area in the basement at an extra charge. The room was very comfortable with a large balcony and pyramid view.

This hotel has the most amazing view of the pyramids. We went to sleep and woke up with a view of the pyramids from our room. The foyer was a "wow" dressed up with a lot of Egyptian seating, statues and memorabilia copies. Breakfast was served on the roof looking at the pyramids and was sufficient. The room and balconies were clean and large sized and we loved sitting on the balcony gazing at the pyramids. Big pool for teenagers and adults and a smaller shallow pool for small children on the roof. Really lovely cafe serving great meals in the same complex.

The staff are very friendly. It's aleast 20 minute walk to the giza pyramid and the national museum. Pricing was fair. They also clean your room spotless. I had a nice Balcony view. They also have store in side the hotel so you don't even have to leave the hotel for supplies. Pharmacy and current exchange was only a block away from hotel so that was nice as well. Everyone speaks relatively good English and some Spanish. Over all great experience I will definitely go back .
